Monotone Colour Block Should Be Next On Your Fashion Radar

Colour blocking as a trend has been here for a while and it doesn't seem like it is not going anywhere any time soon. Apart from saving us the stress of matching our entire outfit (not a jab at monochrome lovers), it also helps us (fashion enthusiasts) make statements without trying too hard. But did you know monotone colours can be pieced together to achieve a colour block outfit? We'll tell you all about it!

Contrary to popular opinion that you could only block with analogous colours and complementary hues, you could also block colours that come in similar shades for an overall tonal look i.e pairing lighter and darker shades for contrast. The idea of monotone colour block is such a cool one because it a blend of two trends

Also, it is a safe way to colour block (if you haven't gotten a hang of it yet) and it erases out any colour doubts that you might have. For instance, you can pair lilac colour pants with a purple top and let your accessories be in line with both colours.
