Evening occasions vary but choosing the right outfit to suit the occasion is where the challenge can be for most women. 1. THE DRESS CODE
Most occasions give a dress code so people come in looking uniformed and fit for the event. When given a dress code take risk. For instance if it is a black tie event every lady will opt for a ball gown but why not try a well fitted tux. Be fashionable with the dress code.
2. GO FORMAL
No matter the occasion, dressing formal is always a Win Win. For instance if you are wearing something short or above your knee try to stay away from platform stick with the single sole pumps cause platforms have a way of making outfits look shorter. if you are wearing a boob tube or a low neckline go for something long and stylish.
3. COLOUR
Choosing the right colour can be another issue when picking an evening dress but there are basic colours that you can never go wrong with: Black, navy blue, metallic colours, gold, jewel tones and red.
 

4. SHOES
With short dresses or dresses just a little bit below the knee almost any shoe will go; court, strap heel, peep toe e.t.c but if you are wearing a very long dress strap heels or peep toes are the best kind of shoes to wear.
