When it comes to style the 1st basics step is figuring out your body type this will assit you in mastering style in the best light for your silouette

Basic female body type include;-

HOUR GLASS SHAPE;- this is the body type in which the bust, hip and waist ratio measurements are excellent because their body fat is evenly distributed.

APPLE SHAPE;- the "apple shape" girls are average in height or shorter than average and are busty with thin legs. Women in this category are advised to do exercises in order to tone up their upper body/torso

Straight body type;- this is the most common body type. This means that your hips and bust are balanced and your waist is not very defined. The key to dressing a Straight body type is to proportionally dress the top and bottom of your body while enhancing your waist. Illusion of volume on the lower body is best.

Pear body type;- for a Pear Body type (sometimes called triangle), your hips are larger than your bust and you have a nicely defined waist. You have an elegant neck and proportionately slim arms and shoulders.
The key to dressing a pear body type is to enhance and add the illusion of volume to your upper body while emphasizing your waist and de-emphasizing your lower body to create a balanced, hourglass appearance.

Oval body type;-  As an Oval body type, you have a large bust, narrow hips, and a full midsection. You have a tendency to gain weight in your stomach, back and upper body. Your waist is the widest part of your frame.  Your buttocks are somewhat flat and your legs are slender. The key to dressing an Oval body type is to de-emphasize your midsection and create a more defined waist. This is achieved by choosing clothing that add curves and fullness to your lower body and tops that taper to a waist
