Powered by Vane-Style, CEO Veronica Odeka held a One Day Style Clinic in Lagos, Nigeria for Women. Created from a constant desire of women to look and feel great , the clinic focused on the importance of looking and feeling good. As a seasoned stylist and fashion consultant , some of what Veronica went over were the basic wardrobe staples for the Nigerian Woman's wardrobe and showed the attendees several ways to style themselves thin. Veronica also engaged the ladies with images of different body types and followed it up by explaining exactly why certain items of clothing and accessories compliment ones figure. The ladies asked questions and shared their style stories with veronica while they nibbled on bites and refreshing drinks from Eventi cocktails. The gorgeous backdrop and decor by The wedding guru set the tone for a lovely time. Guests were also treated to lovely vane-style gift bags full of sponsored goodies from BeautyRev, R&R, My work shoes, Bland2Glam, Cookie Skin and were also shown the magic of contour , alongside how to achieve the perfect eyebrows by Dodo Artistry . My weekend was absolutely amazing. I attended the Maharaja ball put on by Poosh Boutique VI and the KLS foundation . It was a charity event to raise money for children with Down Syndrome. At the event guests were treated to hand paintings and Photo Booth. There was also a delicious array of Indian delicacies as well as Musical entertainment from India and nigeria. The event was hosted by Dakore and she introduced the well known Indian designer Tarun Tahiliani, who put on a breathtaking fashion show featuring several of his collections. An auction was held, and a raffle draw that had everyone present to participate. All in all it was a worthy cause and well attended event.
